We are excited to now offer our participants a bonus supply of fresh produce options! Through our partnership with Second Harvest Heartland we are able to get produce rescued from local grocery stores into the homes of our participants. Kowalski’s Food Drive – Saturday March 10th/Sunday March 11th – SIGN-UP
Help run our quarterly food drive at the Kowalski’s on Grand! This is a great time for families and individuals to help collect items to stock our Food Market shelves. Shoppers are invited to purchase items and then donate them on-site at our Neighborhood House table.
Volunteers help in several ways:
- greet customers and handing out our Food Wish List
- collect food items at our table
- collect financial donations
- take donations out to Neighborhood House van
Each shift we are looking for one Lead Volunteer and 3-5 additional volunteers.

Fresh Produce Distributions – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED March 13th!
Our Produce Distributions are now year round! Come join us in providing fresh produce in our community even during the winter months.
