Currie Scholarship Applications Now Available

Constance Currie Scholarship Program -- 2010 applications now closed.   2011 Applications Available in January 2011.


For fifty years, the Neighborhood House Currie Scholarship program has been helping West Siders attend college and vocational school. Named in honor of Constance Currie, Executive Director at Neighborhood House from 1918-1957, over 800 scholarships have been awarded since 1959, many to students who have become leaders in the community.

Eligibility
Applicants must be seeking a first-time post- secondary education and 

*  Have lived, worked, or volunteered within Saint Paul’s West Side Community (zip code 55107) at some point in their lives; or
*  Been actively involved with Neighborhood House or the West Side community
*  Current holders of Currie Scholarships are eligible to apply for renewal if they are making progress toward their initial degree.

Application Deadline
Completed applications and all additional required documents must be postmarked no later than March 12, 2010 to be considered. Awards will be announced by May 1, 2010.
