Get to know our programs

Families experience unique challenges that require a personalized, holistic approach. Rather than offering a single service that addresses only some of a family’s needs, Neighborhood House is a multi-service agency that follows an integrated approach with multiple programs that puts client needs at the center.

We believe that families know what’s best for them and what success means. That’s why we don’t have a one-size-fits-all approach or a singular path to success. It’s why we meet with participants and discuss their needs and goals and personalize a plan to achieve them. By putting our clients at the center of our work, we are able to provide better outcomes for families.

Neighborhood House has services ranging from basic needs to education, each designed to support all members of a family, over time. Because each family is unique, not all families will engage with each program. Some families may only engage in one or two. But for those with more complex challenges, programs are designed to work with one another to support the many facets of life and create the best outcomes.

Our Family Centers program provides resources and guidance to families struggling with conflict, finances, and stability.

Our Housing Stability program assists renters or those experiencing homelessness in finding safe, stable housing, preventing evictions, and assisting with crisis intervention.

Our Food Support program connects and supports families with multiple food markets and pick-up locations to ensure they have food security week by week.

Our Literacy and Adult Education program provides participants with classes on language, technology, careers, and community engagement that deliver confidence and connections for success.

Our Parent and Early Childhood Education program includes preschool classes to get kids ready for kindergarten, as well as support for parents to encourage learning at school and at home.

At this time, our programs and services are running differently to ensure the health of all staff, participants, and visitors. We invite you to read more about the goals of our programs, as well as how they’re currently running by clicking the links above.
